What? Gross! But oddly fascinating all at the same time, right? Pretzels, chocolate wafers for melting (red and white) and black and white sparkling sugar is all you need to make these decorative and tasty treats.
This one is pretty self explanatory. We dipped the pretzels into the white chocolate just far enough to leave some of the brown showing so that could be the filter. Once dry, the tip was dipped into the melted red chocolate to form the lit end. It was then rolled in a combination of black and white sparkling sugar for the ash at the end of the cigarette. They were then displayed in ashtrays on the table.
The hardest part of this process was drying the chocolate so it wouldn’t run. We ended up standing them up with the pretzel (filter) side down in the grid of our cookie cooling rack. The perfect combination of sweet and salty! – R.Dolly
