Truck 59 is a craft ciderhouse that doesn’t have a big selection of ciders, as yet, but what they did have was pretty damn tasty. Most of us weren’t a fan of the dry apple cider that they made. However, I did come home with a few bottles of their semi-dry apple cider and their Cherry N’ Apple cider because they were fantastic! There was an outdoor area with picnic tables to sit at that overlooked the orchard as well as a large area for tents that could be rented out for weddings. The firetruck and firehose out front were a great backdrop for pictures.
On Friday and Saturday there’s a food truck set up there called “Renegade Kitchen” food truck which is a fairly new enterprise and has a vegan menu. The avocado fries were an unexpected delight and the “(Better Than) Mom’s Mac & Cheese made with cashew cheese sauce was…interesting.
