An ode to a successful harvest or a salute to beer. Either way, a barley mask is your go-to October accessory.
- dried barley
- glue gun
- Make a mask template out of paper and transfer it onto your felt. Make sure your eye holes are big enough for you to see out of.
- Cut the barley heads off of their stems. Start gluing from the centre of your mask and outwards in a fan pattern. As you’re gluing, bend your mask as it will have to mould around your face and fill in any empty spaces with small pieces of barley.
- Glue ribbon onto inside of mask. Cover ribbon with small piece of felt.
